Kent State Basketball Open Practice Set for Saturday at M.A.C. Center

KENT, Ohio — With basketball season just a week away, Kent State fans are encouraged to join the men's and women's basketball teams for an open practice at the M.A.C. Center on Saturday, Nov. 3. Admission is FREE and doors are scheduled to open at 6:30 p.m.
The event will begin with an exclusive opportunity to view the final 30 minutes of a women's team practice. Members of both teams will then pair off to compete in a three-point contest. The men's team will then hold a scrimmage to bring the night to a close.
There will be a select-a-seat event in the arena where fans can see what seats are still available for purchase for the upcoming season in addition to various promotions and giveaways throughout the night.
Don't miss out on the first opportunity to see this year's Golden Flashes in action. The men host Hiram in the season opener on Wednesday, Nov. 6 and are slated to play four home games during the month. Kent State's women open with four games on the road before welcoming Ohio State to the M.A.C. Center for the first time since 1981 on Thursday, Nov. 21.
