KENT, Ohio – Kent State defensive back Qwuantrezz Knight won his NCAA appeal and is eligible to compete in the 2019 football season.
"Great news today," said Head Coach Sean Lewis. "I'm really excited for Qwuantrezz [Knight] and his ability to step on the field right away for us. He is a great young man and now has a change of scenery that he can grow and develop with everything he has gone through. I'm excited for the opportunity for him, and now it's time for him to go to work and go get some wins."
The Maryland transfer appeared in 27 games and made 45 tackles in his three seasons with the Terps. Knight led all Golden Flashes in the spring game with eight tackles.
