Stormo Named MAC Golfer of the Week

CLEVELAND, Ohio- Kent State senior Karoline Stormo was named the Mid-American Conference Women's Golfer of the Week on Thursday following her standout performance at the Branch Law Firm/Dick McGuire Invitational.
Stormo finished second in the Dick McGuire Invitational after shooting rounds of 68-73-68 for a 7-under 209 score and helped the Flashes win their first tournament of the season. In her opening round, Stormo fired a bogey-free round of 4-under par 68. She posted the team's lowest final-round with a 68 and fired six birdies. Stormo led the tournament in par-3 and par-5 scoring and finished with 14 birdies.
