Flashes Travel to Cedarville for All-Ohio Championships

KENT, Ohio – The Kent State men's and women's cross country teams head to Cedarville, Ohio on Saturday, Sept. 28, to compete in the 2019 All-Ohio Cross Country Championships.
The Men's Championship 8K race will kick off the meet at 1 p.m., followed by the Women's Championship 6K race at 1:45 p.m. The Men's Open 8K and the Women's Open 6K will follow the two Championship events.
A total of 44 men's teams will take place in the 65th Annual Men's 8K Championship, while 47 women's programs will compete in the 39th Annual Women's 6K Championship.
The Golden Flashes will be led on the women's side by Maddie Dunlap, who finished fourth in the season opener. Thirteen other women will compete for the Flashes.
The men's team is led by Clark Bookman, who has paced the Flashes in each of the last seven races. Bookman has two top-five finishes this season. He will be joined in Cedarville by nine other Golden Flashes.
