Women’s Basketball Announces MAC Schedule

CLEVELAND, Ohio – Kent State will play four games at the M.A.C. Center during the month of January, as the Mid-American Conference office released the 2020 league schedule Wednesday afternoon.
After beginning the 18-game conference slate with a road trip to Ball State on Saturday, Jan. 4, the Golden Flashes will return home to host Eastern Michigan (Jan. 8) and Western Michigan (Jan. 11) in the next two games. Visits to Northern Illinois (Jan. 15) and Miami (Jan. 18) will be followed by home dates against Buffalo (Jan. 25) and a rematch with Ball State (Jan. 29) to close the month. Toledo is the other West Division school the Flashes will play twice, visiting Savage Arena on Feb. 1 and hosting the Rockets on Feb. 15 in the annual Play4Kay game.
Kent State will be on the road for the first Wagon Wheel Challenge matchup of the season on Wednesday, Feb. 12. The Flashes will then host the Zips on Wednesday, Feb. 26.
Senior Day will be celebrated prior to the game against Miami on Saturday, Feb. 22. The final home contest of the season will be against Ohio on Wednesday, March 4.
This year's MAC Women's Basketball Tournament will begin Monday, March 9th with round one games on campus before moving to Cleveland's Rocket Mortgage Field House for games on March 11, 13-14. CBS Sports Network will host the MAC Women's Basketball Tournament Championship Game on Saturday, March 14th.
