Favorable weather aids Kent State's fall training

While a massive cloud of uncertainty continues to hover over collegiate athletics due to ongoing COVID-19 concerns, Kent State's winter sports teams are pressing on with plans to play in 2020-21.
Basketball's intent to tip off the upcoming season in late November has been well-documented. Plans to begin the wrestling, gymnastics and indoor track seasons in January have been put into place in a much more quiet fashion, which I learned during recent discussions with Golden Flashes head coaches in each of those respective sports.
After previously publishing stories on the wrestling and gymnastics teams, the Record-Courier concludes this series today with an update on Kent State director of track and field Bill Lawson's Kent State indoor program.
