Kent State did it with great balance, finishing second in the MAC and third in the FBS in rushing offense (283 yards per game) and second in the MAC and 11th in the FBS in passing offense (323.5 yards per game). The Flashes ran for at least 200 yards in each game this season and threw for over 300 yards in three-of-the-four games. Kuduk, Monnin and the offensive line also only five sacks in four games.
