KENT, OHIO- Saturday December 5th's Kent State Football game at Miami of Ohio has been canceled and will be declared a no contest.
Below is the Kent State statement on the game:
The Kent State University football game scheduled for Dec. 5 at Miami University will not be played due to COVID-19 concerns. The decision to not play the game was made out of an abundance of caution in consultation with university leaders and medical professionals, with the safety and well-being of our student-athletes and staff as our first priority. The football team will continue preparations for its final home game on Dec. 12 at Dix Stadium against Ohio University.
