KENT, Ohio- The Kent State men's basketball team will close out the series with Ohio as the Flashes travel to Athens on Friday night. Friday's game will tip off at 6:30 and will air on CBS Sports Network.

The Kent State men's basketball team improved to 18-10 overall and 8-7 in conference play after a 74-61 win over Miami on Tuesday night. KSU shot a blistering 57.4 percent from the field while four players scored in double-figures. Senior Antonio Williams led the charge with 17 points and five rebounds. Junior Danny Pippen came off the bench to score 16 points and pulled down four rebounds, while sophomore Anthony Roberts had 13 points with five assists. Senior Philip Whittington rounded out the double-figure scoring with 12 points. The Flashes dominated in the paint scoring 42 points to the RedHawks' 12. KSU won the battle of the boards out-rebounding Miami, 29-20.
On the season, the Flashes are shooting 45.4 percent (771-1699) from the floor and 240-698 (34.4 percent) from long range. Pippen leads the team in rebounds averaging 7.1 boards a game.
