Kent State Athletic Director Joel Nielsen has issued the following statement:
"I agree with the Mid-American Conference's (MAC) decision to cancel all athletic competition through the end of the season. We will continue to provide all necessary resources for our student athletes coaches and staff during this difficult time. This includes academic support to our student athletes as the campus transitions to remote instruction. Our main priority is the health, well-being and safety of our student-athletes, coaches and staff as we continue to monitor the coronavirus."
