KENT, Ohio – The Kent State gymnastics team (3-3, 1-0 MAC) will take on a familiar opponent in Eastern Michigan (5-2, 2-2 MAC) for the third time in a row on Sunday at 3 p.m., in Ypsilanti, Mich.
"We are excited about the opportunity to see Eastern Michigan again," said Head Coach Brice Biggin. "Last week, we did not compete up to our expectations. The message this week is to step up, take pride in how we handle ourselves every day, every practice and every turn. If we do this, we feel like we should be very successful this weekend."
The Golden Flashes rank in the top-three in the Mid-American Conference on all four events. The team is second in the conference on bars and third place on the other three events.
