The Flashes were led by senior Danny Pippen who was honored before the game for joining the 1,000-point club, notched his sixth double-double of the season with 17 points and 11 rebounds. Junior Malique Jacobs added 12 points and three steals, while Tervell Beck and Giovanni Santiago closed out the double-digit scoring with 10 points apiece.

The Falcons, stand (10-8, 6-6 MAC) under the direction of 6-year head coach Michael Huger after falling to Western Michigan, 76-70. Turner scored a game-high 25 points on 9-of-17 shooting. Turner also added six rebounds, four steals and two assists. The Falcons trailed by as many as 14 points, but cut the deficit down to a single possession multiple times in the second half. With the Falcons down by two points with under a minute left in regulation. WMU hit a jumper that put the lead to four as time ran out.
BG has three players scoring in double figures in Turner (20.2), Plowden (12.7), and Diggs (10.9).
