KENT, OHIO- Kent State wide receiver Isaiah McKoy will have his pro day and combine workout on Monday morning inside the Kent State Field House.
Pro Days and the NFL Combine are one in the same this season. Players across all of college football will go through their combine workout at their school's pro day. The pro day is closed to the public.
McKoy will go through a controlled workout with NFL scouts on Monday. The first part will be a traditional combine workout which includes: bench press, vertical jump, broad jump, 40-yard dash, 20-yard shuttle and three-cone drill. He will then go through a series of receiving drills, running a typical "route tree" at the scouts' direction.
The Brooklyn native enjoyed three very productive seasons as a member of the Golden Flashes. He was named third-team all-conference in 2019 and first-team all-conference in 2020. McKoy led the Golden Flashes in receptions, yards and touchdowns in each of the last two seasons. A big play wide receiver, McKoy led the Mid-American Conference in yards per catch in 2019 (15.6) and finished third in the conference in 2020 (18.1).
In three seasons, McKoy finished his Kent State Career with 124 catches for 1,748 yards and 16 touchdowns. He ranks sixth all-time in catches, fifth all-time in yards and second all-time in touchdown receptions in Kent State history.
Following the workout, McKoy will have a media availability via Zoom, starting around 10 a.m. eastern. A highlight melt of the combine workout will also be provided. Any media outlet wishing to attend the availability or who would like a copy of the melt is asked to contact Director of Athletics Communications Dan Griffin at dgriff34@kent.edu.
