
Bailey Named MAC Most Outstanding Field Performer for Indoor Season

CLEVELAND, Ohio – Kent State junior Gabby Bailey has been named Most Outstanding Field Performer, as the Mid-American Conference announced its 2021 women's indoor track and field postseason awards Tuesday afternoon.
Bailey punched her ticket to the 2021 NCAA Indoor Track and Field Championships with a personal-best throw of 55'-3" to win the shot put at the MAC Championships on Saturday. Her throw ranks 12th in the country and moves her ahead of teammate Grace Tennant for the fourth-best mark in Golden Flashes history.
Both Bailey and Tennant, along with freshman Leah Pasqualetti, will represent Kent State at the NCAA Indoor Championships from March 11-13 in Fayetteville, Ark.
