
Kent State Looking For Late Surge on Final Day in Jonesborough

Jonesborough, TENN... The Kent State men's golf team gained a stroke but lost a place on the second day of the Bank of Tennessee Intercollegiate and will be in search of a big surge in the third and final round.
The Flashes are still led by Bryce Reed, competing as an individual this week, who finished Monday's action two strokes under par in a tie for 20th.
After posting a strong score of 70 in the second round Chris Vandette is now up to 34th and be called upon to help Kent State finish strong on Tuesday.
Luca Civello, Cade Breitenstine and Jordan Gilkison will all be on level footing at tee time, standing in a tie for 40th one stroke over par after the second round.
Kent State will be paired with Augusta and a MAC foe in Toledo on Tuesday with the final round teeing off at 8:30 am.
