Flashes Travel to Sunflower State for Marilynn Smith Invitational

Lawrence, KAN... After opening their season with a pair of strong, top-four finishes, the Kent State women's golf team will head to the heartland for this year's Sunflower Invitational.
The Flashes were ranked 20th in this year's initial Golf Week rankings, and will be in good company in Kansas, facing the likes of #12 Arizona and #23 Nebraska.
Last time out Noramol Nuchsila led the way for Kent State shooting seven under par for a fifth place finish at the Mercedes Benz Intercollegiate, with big performances by Mayka Hoogeboom, Jennifer Gu and Blanca Yague-Cuadros helping the Flashes to a fourth place team result.
Monday's action is set to start with a 9:00 ET tee time and Kent State will be paired with Arizona and Kansas for the opening round. Live scoring all week long can be found on GolfStat.com.
