Trio of Flashes Inside Top Ten After Opening Day of Hurricane Invitational

Coral Gables, FLA... Despite finishing the second round of this year's Hurricane Invitational in a tie for sixth, three different members of the Kent State women's golf team find themselves in the top seven individually heading into the final round on Tuesday.
Noramol Nuchsila, Blanca Yague-Cuadros, and Hester Sicking will each head to the finale in a tie for seventh, each carding three under par with a score of 141 through the opening two rounds.
Sharing spots has been a theme through the Flashes lineup this weekend as Mayka Hoogeboom and Jennifer Gu will head into Tuesday's round in a tie for 37th at three strokes over par.
The Flashes are just two strokes off of a top-five spot in Miami, and just 11 strokes off the lead, and will look to close the gap as their last event of the fall winds to a close.
Tuesday's action is set to begin with a 8:30 tee time and Kent State will be paired with Illinois and San Diego State. Live scoring can be found on GolfStat.com.
