Mills Inks Connor Malicki on Signing Day

Kent OHIO... On Thursday it was announced that the Kent State men's golf team had signed Connor Malicki out of St. Ignatius High School to join the Flashes program for the 2023-24 season.
The local product from Avon Ohio helped St. Ignatius to back-to-back state championships in 2021 and 2022, and holds the school record low of 66, and team low scoring average of 70.7.
"I'm really excited to have Connor join the Kent State family," KSU head coach Jon Mills said. "Connor is a very talented and driven young man with a ton of athleticism."
In addition to his high school accolades, Malicki was a USGA Junior Amateur participant at Bandon Dunes in Oregon and participated in the 2022 US Open Local Qualifier, where he made it to final qualifying at the Springfield Country Club.
The Kent State men's golf team will be back in action on February 13th when the Flashes travel to Alabama for the Mobile Bay Intercollegiate.
