Flashes Head to Annapolis for Navy Classic

KENT- The Golden Flashes are off to Annapolis this weekend to take part in the 44th Navy Classic.
The Flashes will be taking on wrestlers from Air Force, American, Bucknell, The Citadel, Davidson, Lock Haven, (RV) Michigan State, Navy, #19 Nebraska, Ohio and VMI.
Wrestling will start at 9 a.m. with the opening rounds with a 4 p.m. approximate start time for the championship rounds.
Admission to the event is free, however parking will be $10 dollars for thos wishing to attend. Fans without a Department of Defense identification card will have to park off Naval Academy grounds and walk or take a free shuttle.
The Flashes will feature a trio of wrestlers ranked in the latest polls. Jake Ferri is ranked as high as 17th (Wrestle Stat) in the 125 pound weight class. Kody Komara is as high as 23rd (Flo Wrestling) and Enrique Munguia is 24th in the latest InterMat poll.
Ranked matchups to potentially watch out for include Ferri against Anthony Noto of Lock Haven or Liam Cronin of Nebraska. At 149 pounds, Komara could potentially face Dylan Martinez of Air Force, while familiar foe Alec Hagan of Ohio is an honorable mention in the 149 pound rankings. At 165 pounds, Munguia could face Caleb Fish of Michigan State. The Flashes complete lineup for Saturday is below.
Saturday's Classic will have live stats courtesy of Flo Arena, but no live video is available, the live stats link is available on the wrestling schedule page. The Flashes will take a break for Thanksgiving and will be back in action on December 2nd and 3rd for the annual Cliff Keen Las Vegas Invitational.
