Two Flashes selected for NFHCA All-Region Team

GENEVA, N.Y – Kent State's Maria Cambra Soler and Patricia Strunk have received NFHCA All-Region honors, the National Field Hockey Coaches Association recently announced. Both student-athletes were selected to the West Region Second Team.
Cambra Soler was previously honored as the Mid-American Conference Defensive Player of Year and finished the season with 15 points on six goals and three assists.
Strunk was named co-MAC Freshman of the Year and led the Golden Flashes in points (17), goals (7), and shots on goal (29).
The duo helped Kent State capture a share of the MAC regular season championships for the second season in a row.
