Flashes Open Season at Clarion Open

CLARION, Pa.- The Golden Flashes wrestling team will begin their season on the road Sunday, November 6, as they will be competing at the Clarion Open, hosted by Clarion University.
Kent State is one of 13 schools competing at the event. The others include Brown, Bucknell, Buffalo, Clarion, Cornell/Spartan Combat RTC, Edinboro, Gardner-Webb, Maryland, Navy, Pitt-Johnstown, Pittsburgh and Purdue.
The Flashes will be sending 28 wrestlers to compete in the first event of the season, including 14 competitors making their collegiate debuts. Those wrestlers are Ryan Aquilani, Ethan Barr, Josh Boggan, Nico Calello, Dillon Carlson, Colby Dalon, Reece Goss, Jacob Houpt, Keegan Knapp, Billy Meiszner, Kaden Setzer, Zachary Starr, Riley Ucker and Spencer Vos. Additionally, Landen Hacker will be making his Kent State debut after his transfer from Virginia.
The event will take place at the Waldo S. Tippin Gymnasium and will be streamed on FloWrestling.
