Tallahassee Fla... The Kent State women's golf team wrapped up day one of the Florida State Matchup in 8th place and will look to gain ground tomorrow.
The Flashes carded a 305 on the day, finishing a fog-delayed first round 17 strokes over par.
Kent State was led by Chloe Salort who was the only member of the team to finish on par. The Flashes will be back in action tomorrow for round two with a tee time of 8:30 ET.
