The Flashes are winners of five of their last six games and return to the M.A.C. Center for two consecutive home games before the next edition of the Wagon Wheel rivalry.
Sincere Carry recorded his eighth 20-point game of the season as he helped the Flashes put up 50 points in the first half against Miami. It was the Flashes' second-straight 50-point half after close the Bowling Green game with an impressive 58 points in the final period.
The Flashes are getting production from all over the place. Andrew Garcia scored 12 points and recorded a plus-minus of +28 in just 17 minutes against Miami. Other big contributors to the Miami victory were Tervell Beck, Giovanni Santiago and Jeremiah Hernandez who each hit multiple three-pointers in the win.
The offense has come to life over the past three games, averaging 81.3 points during the winning streak. Carry is averaging 21.3 points per game during the streak, including a 30-point performance on the road against BGSU.
Scouting the Eagles
The Golden Flashes and the Eagles met earlier this season, with Kent State picking up a 56-47 victory in a defensive battle. The Eagles have lost four of their last five since the last time they took on the Flashes, including back-to-back losses.
After a 2-1 start to Mid-American Conference play, EMU has lost six of its last seven games and currently sit just a half game outside of the top-eight in the conference. They are looking to battle for a spot in Cleveland in March.
Noah Farrakhan is the Eagles' leading scorer and will be a deciding factor in whether EMU can make some noise in MAC play. Farrakhan averages 16.4 points and is a 43 percent three-point shooter. Him along with Bryce McBride and Monty Scott, who each average 12.2 points, make up an Eagles team that is fifth in the conference in field goal percentage during MAC games.
