PALOS VERDES, CA... The Kent State women's golf team concluded the Northrop Grumman Regional Challenge in seventh place ahead of four top-25 programs in #19 Baylor, #21 Duke, #18 Auburn and #22 Arizona.
The Flashes rode the momentum of a strong Sunday that saw the team ahead of the rest of the pack going into the final two days of the challenge
"While we are not happy with our final round, we can take a lot of positives from the tournament," KSU head coach Casey VanDamme said.
The Flashes carded a 302 on the final day, but still finished with Chloe Salort, Noramol Nuchsila and Emily Price all inside the top-30.
