Thirty-Five Golden Flashes Named to Academic All-MAC Team for Indoor Track and Field Season

CLEVELAND – The Kent State track & field program led all schools with 35 student-athletes named to the 2021-22 Indoor Track and Field Academic All-MAC Team, as the Mid-American Conference recognized a total of 181 student-athletes for their successes in the classroom and in competition.
The Golden Flashes had 23 members of the women's team and 12 members of the men's team earn Academic All-MAC honors. Sophomores Leah Pasqualetti and Isabella Wolford were among the 24 student-athletes with a perfect 4.0 cumulative GPA.
The Academic All-MAC honor is for a student-athlete who has excelled in athletics and academics. To qualify, a student-athlete must have at least a 3.20 cumulative GPA and have participated in at least 50 percent of the contests for that particular sport. First-year students and transfers in their first year of residence are not eligible for the award.
