Last Time Out
The Golden Flashes (18-27, 9-16 MAC) lost to Buffalo in both games of a doubleheader, 3-0 and 2-0, on Tuesday before unplayable field conditions caused Wednesday's finale to be canceled.
Sophomore Jessica LeBeau took a no-hitter into the bottom of the eighth inning of the first game, but a leadoff swinging bunt that settled in no-man's land and two-out home run gave the Bulls a walk-off victory. LeBeau finished with 12 strikeouts
After allowing a leadoff home run to start the second game, redshirt senior Andrea Scali held the Bulls to one run on three hits while striking out eight over six innings in the circle.
Kent State outhit Buffalo, 9-6. Fifth-year Brenna Brownfield led way with a 3-for-5 performance. Senior Sabrina Kerschner and junior Julia Mazanec added two hits each in the doubleheader.
