Three Flashes Named to Academic All-MAC Team

KENT OH.... It was announced on Wednesday that three members of the Kent State men's golf program had been named among the 31 athletes selected to the 2022 Academic All-MAC team.
In addition to their conference-winning work on the links, Luca Civello, Cade Breitenstine and Josh Gilkison were hard at work in the classroom as well, each posting a GPA north of 3.2 while also participating in at least half of the season's contests.
Civello, a sophomore majoring in Business, finished out the year with a pristine 3.99 GPA. Breitenstine wrapped up his semester with a 3.692 in Finance and Gilkison, fresh off an individual MAC Championship closed out his final term with a 3.638 GPA, earning his degree in Business Administration.
