
Golden Flashes Earn USTFCCCA All-Academic Honorees

NEW ORLEANS – The Kent State men's and women's track and field teams and 10 individual student-athletes received All-Academic honors for the 2022 season, the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) announced on Thursday.
To earn All-Academic Team distinction, a program must have at least a 3.00 cumulative team GPA.
Student-athletes must have completed at least two semesters at the nominating institution with a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.25 and finished the indoor season ranked in the national top 96 in an individual event or ranked in the national top 48 (collective listing) in a relay event on the official NCAA POP list provided by TFRRS.org or participated in any round of the NCAA Division I Outdoor Track and Field Championships.
Gabby Bailey, Anthony Milliner and Grace Tennant earned All-Academic honors for the third time. Receiving their second recognition were Scott Benco, Sarena Choi, Leah Pasqualetti and Lukas Van Der Watt. Mi'Angel Daniels, Benja Duff and Aliesha Shaw received their first USTFCCCA's academic accolade.
