Ba Recognized as MAC Men’s Cross Country Runner of the Week

CLEVELAND – Kent State junior Baidy Ba has been named Mid-American Conference Men's Cross Country Runner of the Week, the league office announced Tuesday afternoon.
Ba raced to his second career victory on Saturday in the men's Orange 8K at the XC23 Pre-Nationals meet with a time of 24:06.7. He made his move on the downhill with about 500 meters remaining, surging ahead of the leader for a winning margin of 8.1 seconds.
Kent State will conclude regular season action at the EMU Fall Classic on Friday, Oct. 20.
