
Cross Country Ready for MAC Championships

The Kent State cross country teams will compete for bragging rights at the 2025 Mid-American Conference Championships on Saturday. The meet will be hosted by the University at Buffalo and take place at the Audubon Golf Course.
The men's 8K race is scheduled for 11 a.m. and followed by the women's 6K at noon.

PREVIEWING THE FLASHES
Freshman Michael Hanselman has been the most consistent runner on the men's side as the Flashes' top finisher in all four full-squad meets this season and is coming off a second-place finish at the Falcon Invitational on Oct. 17. Fellow freshmen Tanner Smith and Owen Kelly have also been among the first across the finish line throughout the year.
On the women's side, freshman Camille Dunifer has led the way in both 6K races she has competed in this season. Most recently, Dunifer impressed with a time of 22:20.5 for 18th at the Falcon Invitational. Junior Ella McCollom has been Kent State's top runner twice, including a 4K victory at the Wooster Invitational to open the season.

Kent State will have a week off to get ready for the NCAA Great Lakes Regional Championships in Evansville, Indiana on Nov. 14.
