
Women’s Golf Adds Manuela Carbajo Ré to Staff

KENT, Ohio – The Kent State women's golf team is adding professional Manuela Carbajo Ré as an assistant coach.
"I'm excited that Manuela has decided to help lead our program," head coach Casey VanDamme said. "She was an All-American at Georgia and had a decorated junior career. That experience plus her professional experience on the Epson and LET tours, will help our ladies get to the next level."
Carbajo Ré began her professional career competing in the Epson Tour Road to LPGA from 2017-18 and was a member of the Ladies European Tour in 2019. A member of the Argentinian National Team for 12 years, her resume includes five South American championships.
Collegiately, Carbajo Ré competed for the University of Georgia from 2012-16, earning GolfWeek Magazine All-America Honors, All-SEC Second team, and All-SEC Freshman Team honors in 2013 season.
After her playing career for the Bulldogs, Carbajo Ré was a graduate assistant coach from 2016-17.
