
Fourteen Golden Flashes Earn Academic All-MAC Honors

CLEVELAND - The Kent State field hockey team had 14 student-athletes named to the 2023 Academic All-MAC Team, the Mid-American Conference announced this afternoon.
The Academic All-MAC recognition is for a student-athlete who has excelled in both athletics and academics throughout their collegiate career. To qualify, a student-athlete must have at least a 3.20 cumulative GPA and have participated in at least 50 percent of the contests for that particular sport.
In total, 91 student-athletes from around the conference garnered Academic All-MAC recognition. The Golden Flashes led the way, along with Ball State, totaling 14 student-athletes.
