3/16/2023 12:16:00 PM | Women's Golf
Tallahassee, FLO... After posting their best result of the spring in Dallas last week, the Kent State women's golf team will get back on the links at the Seminole Legacy Golf Club for this year's Florida State Match Up.
"We look forward to competing on a very challenging golf course that will test all parts of our game," KSU head coach Casey VanDamme said.
Last time out, Kent State was led by Mayka Hoogeboom, as the senior finished the Trinity Forest Invitational four strokes under par in a tie for fifth.
A trio of Flashes would conclude the event inside the top-25, as Hoogeboom was joined by Noramol Nuchsila in 14th, and Jennifer Gu in 25th as part of a day that saw Kent State finish 6th among a 15-team field.
The hosts in Florida State enter this weekend as the only ranked team, checking in at #12, but the Flashes join the Kentucky Wildcats in the GolfStat top-50, and will look to climb with a strong performance
Friday's action is set to begin with an 8:30 Eastern tee time, and Kent State will be paired with Notre Dame and Purdue to kick off the opening round.
