
Women’s Basketball to Host Old Dominion February 10 in MAC-SBC Challenge Contest

CLEVELAND – Kent State will host Old Dominion for a 1 p.m. contest at the M.A.C. Center on Saturday, Feb. 10, as Game 2 pairings of the inaugural MAC-SBC Challenge were announced on Monday.
The 2023-24 season marks the debut of the challenge, which is a scheduling alliance in the sports of men's and women's basketball between the Mid-American Conference (MAC) and Sun Belt Conference (SBC).
Each team will play one home and one away game each season as part of the alliance, with the second round of matchups based on real-time NET rankings.
The Golden Flashes defeated Louisiana, 64-55, in Lafayette in the first round of matchups on Nov. 12.
