Kedronova Wins Second MAC Women’s Golfer of the Week Award of Season

KENT, Ohio – It was announced on Thursday that Kent State's Veronika Kedronova has won the MAC women's golfer of the week award, marking the second time this season and the fifth time in her career she has earned the award.
Kedronova claimed the individual title at this week's Marilynn Smith Sunflower Invitational in Lawrence, Kansas. It is the sophomore's second win of the season and third of her career, after winning the Red Raider Invitational in September and last season's Dick McGuire Invitational. Kedronova posted three consecutive rounds of par or better at the Sunflower Invitational to conclude the tournament at 5-under-par, two strokes ahead of the runners-up. Her second round 69 was her second round in the 60s this season and her three rounds of par or better bring her season total to seven in just 12 rounds played.
Kedronova and the Flashes will return to action on October 20 at the Mercedes Benz Intercollegiate in Knoxville, Tennessee.
