Kedronova Earns Second MAC Women’s Golfer of the Week Honor

Veronika Kedronova secured her second Mid-American Conference Women's Golfer of the Week award this past weekend, tying for sixth at the UCF Challenge.
Kedronova saved her best for the last, shooting a 67 (-5), to tie for the best individual score on the final day of the tournament.
The freshman had one of two eagles for the Flashes, finding the hole on her third shot on the par five 16th.
The Czech Republic native garnered 11 birdies through 54 holes, compared to only five bogeys.
Overall, the Golden Flash standout finished with a total score of 210 to wrap up at six under par.
"Veronika continues to improve and her last round was incredible," said Head Coach Casey VanDamme.
Kedronova has made it a theme to start seasons well, as she began the fall in her first career tournament tying for 1st at the Dick McGuire Invitational, which gave her her first MAC golfer of the week honor.
Kedronova and the rest of the Golden Flashes will return to action on Feb. 18 and Feb. 19 in the Spartan Sun Coast Invitational in Sarasota, Florida
