
Flashes Host CMU for Senior Day

Kent, OH - The Flashes return to the M.A.C. Center for their final home game of the regular season. Kent State will host Central Michigan on Saturday, March 2. The game will follow the women's game at 1 p.m. at approximately 3:30 p.m. ET. Going into Saturday's game the Flashes have a three-game winning streak inside the M.A.C. Center
Saturday's game will be live on ESPN+ with Dane Richardson and Jana Ashley on the call. The game can also be heard on ESPN Cleveland 850 with Rob Polinksy.
Last Time Out
The Flashes defeated the Buffalo Bulls earlier this week 76-64 inside the M.A.C. Center.
The Flashes are now 8-6 in the M.A.C. Center, averaging 79.5 ppg with a +7.3 scoring margin on their home court. The last time the two teams met this season, CMU defeated the Flashes 77-62. VonCameron Davis led the Flashes with 20 points while Jalen Sullinger followed with 17 points. Sullinger has recorded double-digit points in 13 of the Flashes' 15 MAC games, including his third 30-point game in their last game against Buffalo. Davis has recorded double-digits in all of the Flashes' conference games, including three 20+ point games and a double-double in the win over Bowling Green. Giovanni Santiago is three games away from making the top 10 in Kent State history for games played with 127 in his career.

Key Players for The Chippewas
CMU has already clinched a berth in the Mid-American Conference Tournament. At 10-5 in MAC play, Central Michigan finds itself tied for third place. Central Michigan enters its game at Kent State on a two-game losing streak following losses at Miami (OH) (88-60) and Ball State (79-71). Point guard Anthony Pritchard leads the Chippewas in a variety of statistical categories including scoring (13.5ppg.), minutes played (32.5), field goals (135), field goal attempts (293), assists (114), and steals(44). Central Michigan has registered MAC sweeps over Western Michigan and Bowling Green.
Series Matchup
This will be the second meeting among the teams this season. CMU defeated the Flashes at McGuirk Arena earlier this season 77-62. This will be the 87th all-time meeting between the two teams. The Flashes lead the all-time series 52-35 and inside the M.A.C. Center 32-11.

Follow the Flashes
The Flashes will wrap up their last two games of the regular season on the road. The Flashes will head to Ball State on Tuesday, March 5. The game is scheduled for 7 p.m. and will be available on ESPN+. The Flashes' final game of the regular season will be at Toledo on Friday, March 8.
