Kedronova Shoots 75 to Open NCAA Championships

CARLSBAD, Calif. – Kent State's Veronika Kedronova shot a 3-over, 75 at Omni La Costa Resort on Friday and sits tied for 87th at the end of the first round of the 2024 NCAA Women's Golf Championship.
An eagle on No. 4 put Kedronova at 1-under. She then carded a bogey on each of the next two holes and pulled back to even at the turn following a birdie on No. 9.
The freshman remained at even-par through 13 holes but recorded a double-bogey on No. 14 and bogey on No. 16 to shoot 3-over on the back nine.
Kedronova will begin Saturday's second round at 5:12 p.m. ET on hole No. 10.
