Gabby Bailey places 20th at NCAA Championships

EUGENE, Ore. – Gabby Bailey placed 20th at the 2024 NCAA Outdoor Track and Field Championships Saturday afternoon at historic Hayward Field. She was Kent State's lone representative at the national meet.
Bailey's first throw measured 173' 6" which she then bettered on her third and final throw of the competition to 176' 5". This was Gabby's fifth time competing on the national stage, she previously qualified for the 2019, 2021, and 2022 outdoor championships and the 2021 indoor championships. Bailey is a two-time All-American earning both honors during the 2021 season.
This concludes the 2023-24 season for the Golden Flashes.
