KENT- Kent State graduate offensive lineman Cameron Golden has been named a Team IMPACT fellow for the 2024-25 season.
Golden was selected from a competitive application and interview process. He will work with the Kent State programs that have a Team IMPACT member, working with the teams to help both parties get the most out of the partnership. As a fellow, he will also serve as a liaison to Team IMPACT and an ambassador to help raise awareness within the community.
"I'm incredibly honored to be part of the Team IMPACT fellowship," Golden said. "I hope to grow as a leader and team player while making a positive difference in the lives of those we support. It is a unique opportunity to learn, give back, and witness the profound impact sports can have on the community."
The fellowship will provide opportunities for Fellows to build leadership, networking, community engagement and career development. This is the second consecutive year that Kent State will have a fellow, women's soccer student-athlete Amanda Winquist served as a fellow for the 2023-24 season.

Kent State has worked with Team IMPACT since 2018, matching children with men's and women's basketball, field hockey, football, gymnastics, and soccer programs.
