
Cross Country Releases 2024 Schedule

KENT – The Kent State Cross Country team has announced its 2024 schedule. The Golden Flashes are set to kick off the 2024 season on August 30th, in the Rubber City at the Tommy Evans Invitational. The Flashes will be under the guidance of first-year head coach Laura Rybka. Rybka joined the staff in July from Grove City College in Grove City, Pa.
Kent will travel to Muncie, Indiana on September 14th for the MAC Preview meet, hosted by Ball State. After a 3-week break, the squad will head to Bethlehem, Pa. for Lehigh's Paul Short Invite on October 5th. On October 18th the Flashes head to Bowling Green for a final pre-conference tune-up at the Falcon Invite. The MAC Championships will be hosted by Ball State this season on October 26th. On November 9th both squads will head back to the Rubber City for the NCAA Regional Championships. Qualifying athletes will compete at the NCAA Championships in Madison, Wisconsin on November 23rd.
