Kent State Drops Friday Volleyball Match in Kalamazoo

KALAMAZOO, Mich. โ Kent State lost to host Western Michigan, 3-0 (10-25, 16-25, 17-25), on Friday.
The Golden Flashes (8-18, 3-12 MAC) had a strong blocking performance with 10 on the night. Redshirt sophomore Adalynn Ginley and sophomore Nadia Miller led the way with five blocks each. Sophomore Hailey Brenner totaled 18 digs to contribute on defense.
Senior Mackenzie McGuire recorded seven kills to lead the attack. Junior Christina Vigil finished with 18 assists.
Kent State and Western Michigan will finish the series on Saturday at 3 p.m.
