
Golden Flashes to Host Arkansas State in Second Game of the MAC-SBC Challenge

KENT – Kent State Men's Basketball (14-8) is set to welcome the Arkansas State University Red Wolves to the M.A.C. Center on Saturday, Feb. 8. Tipoff is set for 2:00 p.m. It is the second game for both teams as part of the Mid-American Conference Sun Belt Conference Challenge.

On Tuesday, Feb. 4 Kent State defeated Eastern Michigan by a final score of 70-49. Delrecco Gillespie's 18 rebounds were the highest by a Flash this season, a career high for him, and the highest rebound total for a Kent State player since Chris Payton pulled in 20 against Cleveland State on Dec. 9, 2023. He also scored a career high 13 points. Cli'Ron Hornbeak's seven blocks were a career high for the senior center, and the highest block total for a Flash this season.
