PITTSBURGH- The Kent State Golden Flashes baseball team came up short against the Pitt Panthers on Wednesday afternoon falling 13-17.

Kent State chipped away at the Pitt lead with four runs in the top of the third. Sawyer Solitaria would shoot a single up the middle and the Hunter Klotz would follow up just a few batters later with a three-run blast over the right field wall.
Ripken Reese would open the top of the fourth with a moonshot deep to left. Solitaria would then give then Flashes the lead on a double that found its way out to the left centerfield gap and score Casey and Hayden Jatczak.
Pitt would regain the lead with seven runs in the bottom of the fourth. They would extend their lead with one in the bottom of the sixth and seventh.
