KENT, Ohio – Kent State University Athletics is thrilled to announce the return of the Golden Flash Bash 2025, with 7 17 Credit Union as the Title Sponsor. This premier philanthropic event will bring together alums, fans, and supporters for an unforgettable evening celebrating Kent State's pride, community, and excellence in athletics while raising scholarship support for the program.
Taking place on Saturday, April 5, 2025, from 5:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. Eastern Daylight Time at the M.A.C. Center (1025 Risman Dr., Kent, OH 44242), the Golden Flash Bash will feature live entertainment, special guest appearances, and a celebration of the Golden Flashes spirit. Kent State alumnus James Burge, a passionate advocate for the university and its athletics programs, will serve as the evening's Emcee, guiding attendees through a night of camaraderie and excitement.
Guests will enjoy a garden party-themed evening filled with delicious food, refreshing drinks, and lively entertainment. The event will also feature live music from Yours For The Taking, adding to the vibrant atmosphere. Attendees will have opportunities to interact with coaches, student-athletes, and fellow supporters of the Golden Flashes. During the exciting live auction, guests can bid on exclusive Kent State Athletics items and experiences, with proceeds supporting Kent State's 19 varsity programs and talented student-athletes. The Golden Flash Bash has raised over $895,000 in support of athletic scholarships over the last six events, and this year's event aims to continue making a lasting impact. It's a Party with a Purpose!
