CLEVELAND – The Kent State track & field program led all schools with 38 student-athletes named to the 2025 Indoor Track and Field Academic All-MAC Team, as the Mid-American Conference recognized a total of 204 student-athletes for their successes in the classroom and in competition.
The Golden Flashes had 21 members of the women's team and 17 members of the men's team earn Academic All-MAC honors.
The Academic All-MAC honor is for a student-athlete who has excelled in athletics and academics. To qualify, a student-athlete must have at least a 3.20 cumulative GPA and have participated in at least 50 percent of the contests for that particular sport. First-year students and transfers in their first year of residence are not eligible for the award.
