
Kent State Track and Field Honored by USTFCCCA for Academic Excellence

NEW ORLEANS – The Kent State men's and women's track and field teams, along with eight individual student-athletes, received All-Academic honors for the 2025 season, the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) announced on Tuesday.
To earn All-Academic Team distinction, a program must have at least a 3.00 cumulative team GPA.
Student-athletes must have completed at least two semesters at the nominating institution with a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.25 and finished the indoor season ranked in the top 96 in any championship individual event, finished the outdoor season ranked in the top 48 in the East or West certifiable by their place on final season performance lists on TFRRS.org, or participated in any round of the NCAA Division I Outdoor Track and Field Championships.
Aliesha Shaw earned All-Academic honors for the fourth year in a row, while Ayden Bath and Svenia De Coninck earned the award for the second straight season. Donovan Crawford, Keeli Dunaway, Joel Enander, Shelby Grover and Charles Pawlosky received their first USTFCCCA academic accolade.
