
Golden Flashes Drop Three-Setter to Vikings

CLEVELAND – Kent State opened the final week of non-conference play with a 3-0 (21-25, 17-25, 20-25) setback to Cleveland State on Thursday.
Both teams totaled 37 kills on the night, but the Golden Flashes (4-6) had 26 errors compared to only 13 by their host.
Outside hitter Mackenzie McGuire continued a strong start to her senior campaign and led the team with 15 kills and 13 digs. Junior Christina Vigil also recorded a double-double with 35 assists and 12 digs.
Kent State finishes the non-conference schedule with a trip to Youngstown State on Friday.
