
Kent State Soccer Drops Physical Game To Buffalo At Home

Kent, Ohio- The Kent State Soccer team dropped a tough, physical match from the visiting University at Buffalo Bulls on Sunday afternoon by a score of 1-0.
After no score in the first half, the Bulls scored in the first two minutes of the second half on a long shot from the left side of the field by Jasmine Guerber; she was assisted by Carolyn Hinkle. Both teams provided physical play with no goals for the remainder of the game as Buffalo came away with the victory.
Buffalo's defense held the Golden Flashes to no shots in the second half as the Bulls led the statistic by a tally of 8-4 with five shots on target opposed to three for the Blue and Gold. Kent State goalkeeper Leah Shaffer finished the contest with four saves, accounting for two in each half.
Up Next
The Flashes will be back at Zoeller Field at Dix Stadium on Thursday for their third straight conference home game when they host Eastern Michigan University at 7 p.m.
