
Kent State Sweeps MAC Men’s Track and Field Athlete of the Week Awards

CLEVELAND – Kent State student-athletes Sean Callahan Jr. and Donovan Crawford were recognized for their outstanding performances this past weekend at the season-opening Al Campbell Invitational with Mid-American Conference Athlete of the Week honors, the league office announced on Tuesday.
Callahan Jr. ran a personal-best time of 6.66 seconds to win the 60-meter dash. His time is tied for 26th nationally and just .01 seconds shy of the Kent State school record that has stood since 2000.
Crawford recorded a MAC-leading mark of 62'-8" in the weight throw and sits 88th nationally
The Golden Flashes will host the annual Jud Logan Memorial at the Kent State Field House on Friday, Jan. 23.
